************************************************************************* 51191 We propose ASCA observations of two ultraluminous infrared galaxies(ULIRGs). Judged from the far-infrared color, starburst activity is still prosperous in these objects, but based on the radio and far-infrared luminosity ratio, these objects must have AGNs. Namely, we would be able to detect the strong X-ray emission from newborn AGNs in the ULIRGs' sample. This proposal is essential to check the scenario which describes that ULIRGs evolve into AGNs (Sanders et al.1988). *************************************************************************
