************************************************************************* 51199 The Antlia cluster is a poor southern cluster that has little been investigated. However, its redshift of z=0.0087 makes it the thrid nearest clsuter, after the Virgo cluster and the Fornax cluster. It contains some 8 NGC galaxies, most of which are ellipticals or S0 galaxies. Therefore it appeast to be a relatively gas-rich system. Its angular diameter just fits in the GIS field of view. We attempt to detect the galaxy/cluster hierarchical structure in this system, just as has been measured in the Fornax cluster with ASCA. *************************************************************************
