   We request 3 A05 observations of 20ksec each to make a crucial test for
   the presence in the prototype colliding-wind binary system WR140 of the
   disk proposed by White and Becker on the basis of their detailed 8-year
   radio study. The ASCA observations should be scheduled roughly six
   months apart in every window in which WR140 is visible. We will propose
   to observe WR140 every six months until the end of the ASCA mission in
   order to map emitting and absorbing material throughout the orbit.
