   We continue our study of the supernova remnants in the Large Magellanic
   Cloud (LMC) with the goal of further determining the gas-phase LMC
   metal abundances. New ASCA observations of two remnants 0534-69.9 and
   0543-68.9 are proposed. These remnants are among the largest/oldest in
   the sample and as such will provide a test of the effects of differing
   evolutionary states on the derivation of abundances from SNR X-ray
   spectroscopy.
