   The radio elliptical galaxy IC 1459 has a massive counterrotaing
   stellar core.The core emits radio and IR. It is considered to be a
   consequense of a mergerof two galaxies. Large Halpha line emitting
   region shows an existense ofionized gas of 10**5 solar mass.
