************************************************************************* 61183 The hot-gas structure and temprature variation in the southern region of the Virgo Cluster will be mapped. We look for an evidence of shock front caused by the infall of M49 subcluster into M87 cluster. Virgo is the only cluster which enables us a close-up look of the heating front with the ASCA's angular resolution. Since the gas and darkmatter should act differently during a dynamical motion, the mass structure in the infalling M49 subcluster will give us new knowledge on the darkmatter properties. The large scale distribution of temperature and abundance in the Virgo will tell us origin and history of the hot gas in this complex system. *************************************************************************
