************************************************************************* 62074 G~70.7+1.2 is a region of radio nebulosity containing a bright infra- red star with a unique emission spectrum. Its non-thermal radio spectrum is indicative of a central source of relativistic particles, eg., a pulsar. The observations are best interpreted in terms of a binary with a neutron star component plowing through dense interstellar medium. We propose to observe G~70.7+1.2 for 40-ks with ASCA. X-ray spectroscopy is the best way to elucidate the enigma of G~70.7+1.2 in terms of either and accreting neutron star or a rotation powered pulsar. *************************************************************************
