************************************************************************* 62126 We propose a 40 ks Asca observation of Seyfert 2 galaxy NGC 513 in order to measure its nuclear emission as well as the scattered component. This source is the only one of 10 Seyfert 2s with broad line flux measured in the polarized light - and thus harboring an AGN - but with no sensitive soft or hard X-ray observations. The measurement - or even a limit - on its X-ray flux will allow us to compare the properties of the scatterer as measured in the polarized light to that measured in soft X-rays, which is crucial for diagnostics of the putative scettering medium present in the "Unified schemes" for the two types of Seyferts. *************************************************************************
