************************************************************************* 63016 ASCA revealed the existence of absorption by a partially ionized plasma, the warm absorber in AGN. Partially ionized plasma in AGN is also regarded as a source of optical and infrared forbidden high ionization lines (FHILs). Comparison with photoionization models indicates similiar temperature and density for the warm absorber and the FHIL plasma. Moreover there exists a correlation between the ROSAT PSPC spectral index and the FHIL strengths. If the warm absorber and the FHIL plasma are identical, the FHIL line profiles can be used to derive the kinematics and dynamics of the warm plasma. To test this hypothesis we want to measure the strength of the warm absorber effect in two AGN which are known to have particularly strong FHILs and compare the results with photoionization models. *************************************************************************
