   PR #    66
   Cas A is the youngest supernova remnant in the galaxym probably
   arising from a massive progenitor. It exhibits a more complicated
   morphology than do the young Type I remnants, corresponding to the
   interaction of the shock with pre-ejected and ISM condensations. This
   observation affords us the opportunity to apply R>30 spectral
   resolving power separately to the knots of strong emission.
