************************************************************************* 71008 There is a group of anomalous X-ray pulsars (AXPs) with pulse periods close to 6s, neither rotation-powered neutron stars nor accreting X-ray binaries. Recently, a hypothesis that AXPs would be neutron stars with super-strong magnetic fields 0f B=10E15G, so called "magnetars", is proposed. If AXPs are magnetars, the properties of AXPs of pulse-period of 6s, steady spin-down rate and moderate X-ray luminosity of 10E35 erg/s, can be successfully explained. The idea is very interesting in the point that the system is driven by the magnetic energy of the neutron star. To confirm this idea, we plan to make follow-up observation of a new discovered AXPs, 1RXSJ170849.0-400910 and investigate the spin-down rate. *************************************************************************
