   We propose to observe smaller scale elliptical galaxies, NGC 1549 and
   NGC 4494.The purpose of the proposal is to determine temperature and
   gas distribution of the galaxies to study the dependence of dark matter
   distribution in elliptical galaxies on stellar velocity dispersion. We
   also study the effect of SN Ia heating in elliptical galaxies.
