   We propose to use ASCA to map the distribution of X-ray temperature,
   and the X-ray morphology for the 3 of the most regular clusters within
   the volume-limited ENACS (ESO Nearby Abell Cluster Survey) sample of
   rich clusters. This will complete an ASCA sample of the 5 most regular
   ENACS clusters for which we have high-quality radial velocity data.
   Combined studies of the structure and dynamics of IGM and galaxies and
   detailed comparisons with our simulations will provide further insight
   into the evolutionary history of clusters. Because of the well-
   understood properties of the sample, cosmological implications can be
   drawn from statistical measures of the sample.
