   NGC 2300 is a very poor group of galaxies. The total flux is
   dominatedby diffuse emission with kT~1 kev and low abundance. The 2
   galaxies arealso weak x-ray sources (NGC2276 ~0.02 SIS
   cts/sec,NGC2300~0.05 cts/sec).The prime science goals are to 1)confirm
   the presence of diffuse emission2) measure the temperature and
   abundance of the diffuse gas3) determine the extent of the gas. We
   have selected two pointing position separated by 16' in order to allow
   background subtraction and to search for the extent of the gas.
