   NGC 4472 is one of the luminous early type galaxies with an extended
   hot gas, which is often used to estimate the amount of the dark
   matter.The radial profiles of the gas density and temperature will be
   obtained with ASCA, and we can estimate the amout of the dark matter.
   We are interested in the origin of the extended gas. High resolution
   spectroscopy is crucial to detemine the abundance of the heavy
   elements.The spectrum would give us a key to clear the origin.
   Trinchieri et al. (1986) reported the radial profile of the NGC
   4472.They mentioned that the isophotoes are compressed to thge NW and
   extended from NE to SW. We will observed the extended emission at NW.
