Observation code : VS05Z    AIPS Version : 31DEC99
Date of Observation : 1999/203    Difmap Version : 2.3c
Source Name : J1118-46    vsop_difmap used : No
Calibration Source(s) : J1127-18
Ground telescopes : HH,SH,HO,MP  Model Fitted to data : Yes
Tracking Station(s) : RZ    Image made : No
Correlator : Penticton

Abstract
Model fit to GRTs shows that the source would have been << 0.1 Jy on all space baselines, so it'd not have been possible to fringe fit (and nor was it).

The 0.5 degree pointing error just makes this worse!

See if fring can find fringes in the mid of experiment. Fring does a much better job. But I also swapped refant to Hob. No VSOP fringes.

ANTAB.TXT Comments
HALCA pointing error possible, about 0.5 degree? No fringes found in the DQA report - not even weak ones. No fringes found by FRING or KRING. FRING did much better than KRING in the center of the obs. Didn't have time to see if it was parms selected or the routine.

Comments on Difmap processing
J1118-46 Mopra off source a few times, Shanghi has a bad drift off-source as it sets (?).

Model fitted, as the beam is diabolical. Model is a circular guassian of 0.226781Jy and 0.72 mas

J1127-18 Correcting IF 1. HARTRAO 1.30 HOBART 0.85 MOP 0.77 SESHAN25 1.25 Correcting IF 2. HARTRAO 1.31 HOBART 0.86 MOP 0.78 SESHAN25 1.32 Flux = 0.897Jy. After correction, flux = 1jy.
