Created NX(1) There was no CSEs. Try FRINGing next (before ANTAB etc., since I'm not sure if I can get any Halca fringes.

Read in DQA1 delay and rate solutions. SN table uses MP as the reference antenna. Zeroed the rates, since had only one good rate solution for Halca. Good DQA1 solutions existed for Mp-Ho, but not for Halca baselines (except for one solution at the end of the observation). Hopefully, if this one Halca solution is legit, it will enable me to use a small FRING window to find more FRING solutions.

Only Ho-Mp solutions....try a smaller solint in case the coherence time is small. (and reduce timer to save time). |
FRING | As above but with: SOLINT=1 TIMER 0 21 0 0 0 25 0 0 |
|
|
|
|
Nada...go back to original solint, and try a larger window |
FRING | DPARM(2) 500 SOLINT=5 TIMER 0 21 0 0 0 25 0 0 |

|
|
Nope....try a moderately small window, with only 2 antennas, and moderate solint |
FRING | DPARM(2) 100 DPARM(3) 50 SOLINT=3 TIMER 0 21 0 0 0 25 0 0 ANTENNAS 1,2 then 1,3 |

Nothing....try a really small window to up the SNR. |

The worst yet, go back to moderate sized window, but will use baseline stacking and LS solutions. |
FRING | DPARM(3)=3 (use baseline stacking) DPARM(2)=200 (200ns delay window!) DPARM(3)=100 (100mHz rate window) DPARM(5)=0 (Try LS solution) DPARM(6)=1 (don't average in frequency) SOLINT=5 TIMER 0 21 0 0 0 25 0 0 |

No good...perhap the one solution I thought was good in the DQA1 was actually bogus. Use a wide open window on the original CL table. |
FRING | GAINUSE 1 DPARM(3)=0 (go back to just the FFT solution) DPARM(2)=2000 (2000ns delay window) DPARM(3)=100 (100mHz rate window) DPARM(5)=0 (go back to just the FFT solution) DPARM(6)=1 (don't average in frequency) SOLINT=5 TIMER 0 (since am running this overnight) |

Nothing...try a really huge window and large solint. |

Nothing...maybe a large window with a short solint??? (with only Halca and one GRT) |

Nope...give up on Halca fringes. Fringe Mp, Ho to find the amplitude of visibilities on this baseline. |

After applying CL table 3, SPLITTING, FITLDing, then DIFMAPing, flux on the short spacings is about half a Jy or so (mentally applying guestimated SEFDs). This is consistent with the PLS data. amplitude |

Comments on Difmap processing
No space fringes and only 2 GRTs...Difmaping (other than to verify amp on the Ho-Mp baseline) done. |
