Write a brief summary of the data reduction and its outcomes} : No space fringes are detected by Mitaka correlator and analyst. One curious thing is GRT amplitude. After gain-tsys calibration using measured tsys for HH and nominal tsys values for Halca, KA, MP, the target source shows remarkably low amplitude about 0.2 Jy with HH,MP,KA baselines (at 120-180 M lambda) while PRS observed 1.5 Jy at 5 M lambda and 1.3 Jy at 120 M lambda. However the calibrator 0414-189 seems rather alright with about 1.4-2.0 Jy from the ground while PRS observed 3.5 Jy at 120 M lambda (the AT flux monitor tells that the total flux of this source has got decreased since the time of PRS). The 'SNR' value provided by FRING in AIPS is about 50 for the target and 250 for the calibrator. Something must be wrong systematically with only target source. Or is this due to variability of the source? If so, the space fringe could not have been detected anyway because space baseline length was more than 220 M lambda in this experiment. I would suggest that this experiment is to be re-scheduled, but not with very high priority. #--------------------------------------------------------------------------- # Section 2 : Pre-AIPS Checklist #--------------------------------------------------------------------------- {PI letter retrieved (yes/no)} : yes {Data quality reports and plots retrieved?
