Abstract
Extraction from w312a. Fringe-fit the data (for all except NT) in AIPS, determined amp. corrections for GRTs from analysis of two calibration sources in difmap, and applied these with CLCOR. Used 4 hours (10UT to 14UT) and 4 GRTs (BR,HN,MK,NL) for the survey extraction. Imaged J0854+57 in difmap and modelfit with three circular gaussians. Structure consistent with PLS. Core component is 0.6Jy in 0.25mas.

Comments on Difmap processing
Used a GOT extraction of 4 hours (10UT to 14UT) and 4 GRTs (BR, HN, MK, NL). HALCA weight set to 50. Didn' use gscale as had corrected relative GRT gains with CLCOR. Ended up flagging some HALCA data towards end of tracking pass as amps and phases not consistent. Three circular gaussians fited to the data. Core is 0.6 Jy in 0.25mas radius component. Estimated error of +/-0.05mas on this size as larger errors do not fit HALCA data well in radplot.
