Takagi (2021), Venus Climate Orbiter Akatsuki Cloud Motion Vector Data Set v1.0, JAXA Data Archives and Transmission System, https://doi.org/10.17597/isas.darts/vco-00020 Overview -------- This data set contains cloud motion vector data derived from images acquired by the UVI instrument and the IR2 instrument of the Venus Climate Orbiter (VCO, also known as PLANET-C and Akatsuki) spacecraft. This data set consists of NetCDF files. Processing ---------- Cloud tracking program called al3ct was used to derive cloud motion vector data from Level 3 data products. Please refer Ogohara+2012, Ikegawa and Horinouchi (2016), Horinouchi+2017 for the cloud tracking method used to create this data set.
