The togography of SCI impact area and height profile shown in Figs. 2 and S3 are created from Digital Elevation Map (DEM) provided here.

The file are prepared in GeoTIFF format. The units are in meters.


4. Data from the laboratory experiments

The images of the craters made in the laboratory experiments shown in Figs. S9 and S10.
