The AKARI point source catalog

A big present from AKARI to the world.

The first point source catalog including more than millions of infrared sources has been released from the AKARI project on 30 March 2010. This would be one of the basic databases for astronomy community in coming age.

Sources detected by AKARI on the Galactic coordinates. Blue, green, and red points indicate sources in 9, 18, and 90 micro-meter wavelength, respectively.
