Overview

Description

Natural Plasma Wave (NPW) has several sub-systems. This dataset contains the MF-band (frequency range from 180 kHz to 3 MHz) and the LF-band (frequency range from 10 kHz to 200 kHz) electric field intensity spectrum data observed by NPW-A sub-system.

The time resolution is 2 seconds (analog) or 4 seconds (PCM). Each data point consists of 200 (analog) or 48 (PCM) electric field intensity. The data files are provided in the CDF format. All the files from 1978 to 1981 are available.

For effective utilization of NPW data and responsible publication, the user is requested to refer to Oya and Morioka (1981) for further detail specification and descriptions on NPW experiments.
