Overview

Description

The Hayabusa2 SPICE archive bundle contains observation geometry and other ancillary data in the form of SPICE System kernel files for the Hayabusa2 spacecraft, its instruments, and targets.
The detailed description of the Hayabusa2 SPICE archive is provided in the latest version of spiceds_v*.html included in the document collection.

The SPICE data files, which can be accessed using SPICE software, contain geometric and other ancillary information needed to recover the full value of the science instrument data. In particular SPICE kernels provide spacecraft and planetary ephemerides, instrument mounting alignments, spacecraft orientation, spacecraft sequences of events, and data needed for relevant time conversions.
