One is a 250 ks observation on the region where we recently found Fe-rich ejecta. The other is a 200 ks observation on the bright eastern knot. The scientific objectives of the former are (1) to measure the plasma condition, metal composition, and kinematics of the Fe-rich ejecta with Resolve, and (2) to map the spatial structure of the Fe-rich ejecta with Xtend. The scientific objective of the latter is to detect charge exchange (CX) X-ray emission from Puppis A for the first time. This observation provides us with crucial clues to understand the shock structure, the progenitor s explosion mechanism, and the basics of CX emission of this unique remnant.
