A unique way to estimate the mass of a WD in an Intermediate Polar (IP) is to estimate the gravitational redshift of emission lines. We propose 200 kilosec XRISM observations to carry out accurate estimation of the gravitational redshift of emission lines in an IP V2400 Oph and use these measurements to accurately estimate the mass of the WD. The proposed XRISM observation would also serve as a benchmark for carrying out similar investigations for several other moderately bright IPs in future cycles and to estimate the mass of the WDs.
