Observations by major X-ray observatories have revealed a multi-component Fe Kalpha emission line, characterized by a persistent narrow core and a transient broad component. The detection of relativistically redshifted narrow emission features and blueshifted absorption lines points to the presence of a Kerr black hole at the galaxy s center and of material outflowing at mildly relativistic velocities. We propose a 150 ks XRISM observation to resolve these spectral features with unprecedented precision, providing new insights into the structure, dynamics, and variability of the circumnuclear environment of Mrk 841.
