We propose to observe the northeast region to probe the jet and characterize its plasma properties and composition. The jet presumably originated at the core of the explosion, therefore its properties will offer insights into the explosion asymmetry and dynamics. In addition, the high resolution spectra from Resolve will detect and measure the abundances of the trace and odd-Z elements that will be compared with nucleosynthesis models to constrain the mass and metallicity of the progenitor. These observations of the X-ray brightest SNR will be a legacy of the XRISM mission.
