The sharpness and longevity of the CF suggest suppression of Kelvin Helmholtz instability, likely due to magnetic tension. To investigate this, we propose XRISM/Resolve follow-up observations targeting two key regions. A 200 ks exposure at the CF outer edge (CF_OUT) aims to measure the shear velocity, enabling a more accurate estimate of the magnetic field strength that stabilizes the CF. A complementary 80 ks observation of the downstream region (Cen_N) will map bulk velocities and turbulent broadening associated with nonlinear KHI development, targeting the same precision in four subregions across the 500 kpc-scale vortex.
