However, the physical mechanism responsible for QPOs remains unclear even in cataclysmic variables (CVs), the simplest accreting systems. Here, we propose a 160~ks ToO XRISM/Resolve observation of the magnetic CV GK Per during an outburst. This system exhibits QPOs with periods of several thousand seconds, and the predicted Doppler shift of the Fe K$\alpha$ fluorescence line at 6.4~keV, with an amplitude of ~20 eV, will allow us to distinguish between two competing scenarios: blobby accretion and precession of the warped inner disk. Our proposed observations will also enable an accurate measurement of the WD mass, providing an important test of the standard binary-evolution scenario.
