It has a deep, blue-shifted Fe K absorption trough, which can be modeled by a fast wind with an outflow velocity of 0.1c. It has an extensive soft X-ray UFO, as revealed by multiple absorption lines measured by XMM/RGS and Chandra/HETG and hosts a UV UFO counterpart via HST/COS. Here, a 200 ks XRISM observation of PG 1211+143 is proposed. This will provide the first precision, high resolution measurement of the Fe K band UFO, at a resolution surpassing the soft X-ray measurements. XRISM will resolve the individual Fe K band absorption profiles, allowing the line widths and velocities to be measured at high precision in order to infer the wind structure and geometry.
