Binaries consisting of a high-mass star and a compact object constitute an important milestone in the evolution. Gamma Cas and its analogs could be the long-sought missing population of Be/WD binaries, though an alternative scenario exists. The two scenarios (a) Be/WD binary and (b) magnetic disk-star interaction on Be star surface differ most distinctively in the production site of the hard X-rays. We propose two straightforward and fully independent tests with Resolve to distinguish (a) and (b); the test 1 is the RV change of Fe lines as a function of the orbital phase. The test 2 is the line profile of the flurescent Fe Ka lines. Based on our PV experience, the two tests are only possible with Resolve.
