They are important research targets in both physical and astronomical aspects. One of the ideal and most well-studied collisionless shocks are seen in supernova remnants. We propose a 280 ks XRISM observation of the southwestern region of RCW 86, where the Fe-K emission is brightest over the remnant. We will 1) determine Fe-Ka and Kb centroids, flux ratio and broadening, and robustly estimating the efficiency of the collisionless electron heating and reverse shock velocity, and 2) locating the reverse shock surface based on the spatial distribution of the Fe-Kb flux.
