However, even in its most obscured phases it is an order of magitude brighter than NGC 1068, and it can deliver even deeper insights into accretion and outflows in this universally important mode. We request a 30 ks observation with XRISM to perform line diagnostics that will reveal the relative radial positioning of cold and hot gas components components, whether or not they are bound to the system or escaping, how much mechanical power is being channeled into the flows, and how the flows relate to the large obscuring column density.
