Now, XRISM observations of NGC 4151 during the PV phase have resolved specific line components that may reveal even more. We request a total of 360 ks in 9 exposures in XRISM Cycle 1 to undertake a pioneering simultaneous X-ray and optical reverberation lag study of NGC 4151. Building on key prior results, we demonstrate that modest observations will achieve the sensitivity needed to detect a reverberation lag in X-rays. This is the first step to understanding the relative geometry of the X-ray and optical components of the broad line region, and weighing massive black holes in X-rays.
