The largest class flares that affect can only be quantified by studying other stars like the Sun. Investigations of stellar flares in the X-rays provide unique information on the non-thermal aspects of flares, which made steady progress in the last decade. Spectroscopy with an X-ray micro-calorimeter will make a giant leap by providing a new toolbox that has not been realized even in the X-ray observations of the Sun. Here, we propose a MAXI-triggered ToO observation of GT Mus, or other star with a slow development, for the Doppler shifts and off-CIE plasma diagnostics to investigate the non-thermal aspects of stellar flares.
