The S-310 is a middle-size rocket for carrying various payloads. It is a single-stage sounding rocket, 310 mm in diameter, and can reach an altitude of 150 km.
It is spun positively in the atmosphere to overcome resonance, and thus avoids continued resonance problems. It also corrects attitude disturbance by aerodynamic damping.

The S-310-44 sounding rocketrocket was launched from Uchinoura Space Center, Japan (31.3°N, 131.1°E) at 03:00 UT on 15 January 2016 in order to clarify electron heating phenomena in the center of Sq current focus in the winter ionosphere.

Plasma Wave Monitor (PWM)

The PWM (Plasma Wave Monitor) is a receiver for observation of plasma waves in a frequency range from 300 Hz to 22 MHz. The following dataset is publicly available for scientific use:
