JAXA Virtual Planet (VP)
Overview
Description
JAXA Virtual Planet (VP) is a system for analyzing observation data of the Kaguya spacecraft using a geographic information system.
Main Features:
- Display, analyze, and download functions for Kaguya observation datasets in raster and vector formats
- Ability to obtain permalinks and share results

How to use
Access the app (open either โBasicโ or โAdvancedโ), then press the โLayer Listโ icon (the second button from the top left) to open the window. Select the layer you want to display from โAdd Layerโ, and add it using the โAddโ button.
Clicking on a layer displayed on the lunar surface allows you to view the value of that layer at the selected location.
By saving the link displayed when you press the โShareโ icon (the fourth button from the top left), you can reproduce the current screen state using the same shared link on subsequent access.
Data download is available only in the Advanced version (โToolboxโ icon (the third button from the top left) > the fourth Download button from the bottom).
