XRISM public data release has started

The X-ray astronomy satellite XRISM, launched in September 2023, has been observing steadily and has already published many scientific results, taking advantage of the highest X-ray spectral resolution in history. Please click here to see the press release about the paper on the observation of hot gas in the center of the Centaurs cluster of galaxies. All the XRISM observation data will be released to the public after the proprietary periods by the satellite team and the observation proposers, but some data have already been released to the public. The image on the right shows the supernova remnant N132D as displayed by DARTS' JUDO2 (the Resolve image is overlaid on the Xtend image), and this public data was used for the paper here. For a complete list of the public data, please see the "XRISM Public Data List" .
