Centered on Feb 4 2008, a dramatic increase in the X-ray flux was also observed. The lack of correlation between the X-ray flux and the torque applied to the neutron star before the transition, challenges our understanding of the physical mechanisms operating in this system. The main goal of this proposal is to look for changes in the long term flux behavior, energy spectra, pulse profile, line features and power spectra with the current evolution in 4U1626-67 s spin-up rate.
