This state features a hard X-ray spectrum, a high level of timing noise, and emission from a steady jet at radio, IR, and perhaps higher frequencies. Along with radio observations, Suzaku is constraining theoretical models by answering the following questions: Does the inner edge of the accretion disk recede in the hard state? How is the location of the disk's inner edge related to the presence of a jet? Here, we propose to extend X-ray and radio studies of the hard state to low flux levels in order to answer these questions.
