The targets have measured magnetic fields and belong to similar spectral types. SUZAKU data will allow to compare the X-ray spectra of these objects that have similar stellar and wind parameters yet different magnetospheres. These observations will result in the first firm X-ray detections of our target stars. The analysis of XIS spectra will determine the emission measures and the temperatures of the hot gas. Our careful selection of targets will allow us to study the interplay between magnetic fields and stellar winds in O-type stars. These new observations for a comparative analysis of a homogeneous class of objects will be critical for driving the development of the theory.
