We propose Suzaku raster observations to map out the remnant. We will examine the type of the supernova and the X-ray radiation mechanism as well as the thermal, chemical and ionization states of the remnant. We will also spectroscopically characterize an extended hard X-ray emission feature, detected in a Chandra observation and spatially coincident with a radio peak near the remnant center, to test the hypothesis that it is a pulsar wind nebula. This study will facilitate an unprecedented test of our understanding of supernova remnants in a very low density environment. | GALACTIC DIFFUSE EMISSION | 5 | B | Q.
