The result of our AO-2 observation strongly supports this dependence. This suggests that the major part of the emission is originating from the halo or the extended disk of our galaxy. In order to confirm the galactic-latitude dependency and to constrain the spatial distribution of the OVII emitting gas, we propose to observe diffuse radiation at a low galactic latitude of ~ 10 deg.
