The deficiency is small in R5 band . Strikingly the area well coincides with the dark patch in the 408 MHz emission. This indicates the low cosmic-ray and magnetic pressure of this area. We propose to observe this area to determine the temperature of the halo emission using Oxygen lines and to constrain the thermal pressure of hot interstellar medium.
