Those observations will be coordinated with optical and Swift XRT observations, with the goal of obtaining broadband spectra and light-curves during a flare gamma-ray activity. Such detailed spectral and variability studies are crucial to discriminate between different radiation scenarios responsible for production of X-rays and gamma-rays, and to constrain the content and by extension, the accelertation process of the jet and energization of the radiating particles.
