This luminous active galactic nucleus (AGN) is an extremely rare example of a powerful quasar at the center of a rich, cooling-core cluster of galaxies. As such, it may represent a key evolutionary stage in the complex interplay between AGN and the core regions of the intracluster medium (ICM). Our analysis of archival XMM-Newton data has found evidence for a relativistically broad iron line. Here, we build on this request deep (400ks) Suzaku spectroscopy of H1821+643 to (1) measure the spin of this supermassive black hole and (2) search for powerful highly ionized outflows. In addition to measuring spin in the most luminous and distant object yet, this will enable us to test key predictions of recent models for AGN feedback.
