Recently TeV-gamma ray emission from M87 was found. M87 is thus a very strong candidate for an accelerator of ultra-high energy cosmic rays. We aim at the detection of non-thermal hard X-rays from M87 to clarify the mechanism of the particle acceleration. The giant elliptical galaxy M87 is at the center of the Virgo cluster of galaxies, which is the nearest cluster. We can investigate the distribution of various metal elements. We will clarify how the metals, especially oxygen, diffuse to the intracluster space from the galaxy M87.
