These unprecedented measurements will enable us to study the entropy profile at scales near the region in which accretion shocks become important, and will reveal whether its flattening outside the core of the group extends as far as Rvir. Furthermore, we will obtain the mass profile and test the validity of the NFW model in the outer parts of the halo. Due to its high surface brightness and favourable distance, RXJ1159+5531 is the ideal target with which to carry out this study. It will constitute a textbook case for constraining the feedback and other nongravitational processes which shape the distribution of hot gas in galaxy groups.
