Existing observations of Abell 85 reveal an infalling galaxy group ~300 kpc to the south of the main cluster moving supersonically through the ICM. Stripped gas is observed trailing behind this group to distances of 2 Mpc. We will investigate interactions between this group and the main cluster by observing the shocks associated with the group's motion and the properties of stripped gas. We will be able to measure the properties of the stripped gas from the group's current location out to the virial radius by combining the data from both telescopes. These observations will provide key insights into how the largest structures form.
